Assembly Grant Offered to Houston Area Schools
Subject: Emotional Resiliency
Age / Grade Level: Open to all Elementary and K-8 schools in the Houston region
Dates of Tour: January 12-16, 2026
Good News! After performing over 5,000 school assemblies nationwide, Mr. Bromley from The Game Showsters has received a grant to bring his popular BE CALM & BE KIND emotional resiliency program to 10 Houston-area elementary and K-8 schools. Thanks to the grant received, this assembly is free of charge.
This is an in-person school tour (not a livestream program) that will take place the week of January 12-16, 2026. We are now accepting applications from Houston Area Elementary & K-8 schools to be recipients of a BE CALM & BE KIND assembly program.
BE CALM & BE KIND helps students understand their emotions and manage reactions to unkind peer behavior. Your students will learn:
- Why people are mean
- How to stop them
- Why people get upset
- How to stop getting upset
These lessons are delivered by Mr. Bromley using comedy and interactive on-stage games. The grant is available to only 10 schools in the Houston area, so school representatives are advised to complete the online application promptly. (The application consists of approximately 18 questions and takes around 10 minutes.)
Selected schools will receive one complimentary 45-minute BE CALM & BE KIND assembly from the Game Showsters for their students. Additional assemblies are available for purchase at a discounted rate.
